Most people booking a Mornington Peninsula day tour are really booking a ride to Peninsula Hot Springs, so start with what the springs charge. On its own website in October 2026, Bath House entry is A$80 a person on a weekday and A$90 at the weekend, children A$55 and A$65, and a towel is hired on top. The adults-only Spa Dreaming Centre, with towel and robe included, is A$125 and A$135. Every hot springs tour on this page includes the Bath House and none includes Spa Dreaming, so what you are comparing is what each operator wraps around that ticket: a bus, a guide, a lunch, a winery. The wine and coast days make up the rest of the A$92.95 to A$340 range, and we compare them the same way: what is in the fare, and what you still pay on the day.

We read every operator's own website and booking engine on 29 October 2026 and checked the Australian Business Register, and two things came out of it that the listings do not say. The hot springs shuttle sold as Autopia Tours, Wildlife Tours Australia and Boutique Touring Company is one company's 8:20am bus from the same Collins Street doorway, at A$190 or A$166 depending on the name you book. And one of the best-reviewed hike-and-springs days has a single bookable departure between now and the end of April. The eight tours below all have departures on sale for November.

The full wine day, and priced like one. Tastings at Yabby Lake, Crittenden Estate, Quealy in Balnarring and Ten Minutes by Tractor, a cheese platter, and an a la carte main course with a glass of wine and coffee at Merricks General Store, in a group of 2 to 11 with hotel pickup in central Melbourne. Everything you drink and eat on the itinerary is in A$340, which is the honest comparison with the A$205 to A$225 Local Way day: that one has two guided tastings and a grazing board, this one has four cellar doors and a sit-down lunch.

Sundays and public holidays cost A$360 adult and A$300 child, on the operator's own page and at our link. Children 4 to 15 are A$280 on other days, and Vinetrekker says the tour is not suitable for infants. Vinetrekker is a registered business name of Link Tours Pty Ltd (ABN 27 006 236 433) and also runs the Yarra Valley day we rank separately.

What travellers loved

  • Four winery tastings plus a sit-down lunch with a glass of wine, all in the fare
  • Central Melbourne hotel pickup, group of 2 to 11
  • Runs every day except Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday

Know before you book

  • A$360 on Sundays and public holidays
  • Vinetrekker's own pages name two different meeting points (the Athenaeum Theatre on the tour page, Melbourne Town Hall in the FAQ); go by your confirmation
  • Its own booking engine shows 'From AUD$350.00' while the tour page says A$340; the fare at our link is A$340 on weekdays and Saturdays
  • A long day: back around 6:30pm

Also: Full refund at our link if you cancel at least 24 hours before; the operator's own terms charge 20% to 50% inside 72 hours

The plain version of the day, run by Autopia, which describes itself as the official Peninsula Hot Springs shuttle operator. It leaves the Regent Theatre on Collins Street at 8:20am, makes a photo stop at Arthurs Seat and a row of bathing boxes, and gives you about three hours in the Bath House, the all-ages area with around 50 pools. A$190 covers the bus and the Bath House entry. On the springs' own price list that entry is A$80 on a weekday and A$90 at the weekend, so you are paying A$100 to A$110 for the return trip. Autopia also sells the seat without the entry for A$120, so if you already hold a springs ticket, that is the fare to ask for.

Read the company name before you book. Autopia Tours, Wildlife Tours Australia and Boutique Touring Company are the same operator: Autopia and Wildlife Tours are registered business names of Get Lost Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 94 143 929 962), and Autopia's own booking terms list Boutique Touring Company among its affiliated brands. All three sell this 8:20am shuttle from the same doorway with the same Bath House entry. Wildlife Tours prices it at A$166 on its own site and at our link, A$24 less than Autopia's A$190, so we rank the shuttle once, under the name with the review history, and tell you which name is cheaper.

What travellers loved

  • Bath House entry plus a return bus for A$190; the entry alone is A$80 weekdays and A$90 weekends at the springs
  • Back in Melbourne by mid-afternoon, so the evening is free
  • Runs daily, with a transport-only seat at A$120 if you have your own springs booking

Know before you book

  • The identical shuttle is A$166 booked under the Wildlife Tours Australia name, and Autopia's own site shows a 15% code (HD15AT) that takes its fare to about A$162
  • Towel A$6, robe A$15 and a locker are paid at the springs; Autopia's page quotes the locker at A$8 in one place and A$10 in another
  • A coach shuttle of 8 to 23 people with a driver, not a guided tour; there is no lunch and no winery
  • Autopia's page gives the return as 3pm in one place and 3:30pm in another

Also: Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before departure

A wine day with lunch in it, for a lot less than the full-day specialists. Guided tastings at Port Phillip Estate and Trofeo Estate, time at Pt Leo Estate and its sculpture park, a grazing-board lunch with a wine paddle at Green Olive, and the short walk to the Arthurs Seat lookout, in a group of up to 15. Local Way says the wineries are subject to availability, so treat the names as the usual plan rather than a promise.

A$225 is the fare from Melbourne at our link. On Local Way's own booking engine the same day was A$205 on most dates we checked, and A$225 on Monday 2 November, so booking direct can save about A$20. The A$205 Viator also shows is for joining on the peninsula, not for the pickup in Melbourne.

What travellers loved

  • Two guided tastings, a winery lunch with a wine paddle and time at Pt Leo Estate
  • Arthurs Seat lookout on the way down
  • Small group, capped at 15

The sightseeing day, with a guide, for A$125. Arthurs Seat lookout, free time in Point Nepean National Park with its forts, tunnels and old Quarantine Station, the bathing boxes at Blairgowrie and a stop in Sorrento, with a guide and a group of no more than 15. Child tickets are A$95, the same at our link and on Local Way's own booking engine.

It is cheap partly because lunch is not in it: you buy your own at Blairgowrie or Sorrento. Local Way sells a winery lunch with a wine paddle as a A$55 add-on, and bike hire in Point Nepean at A$35 for a push bike or A$75 for an e-bike. The add-on lunch cuts your time at Arthurs Seat from about 1.5 hours to 30 minutes, by Local Way's own page.

What travellers loved

  • A$125 adult and A$95 child, the same direct and at our link
  • Point Nepean National Park entry included, with free time to explore the forts
  • Small group, capped at 15, with a guide

Know before you book

  • Lunch is not included; the A$55 winery lunch add-on shortens the Arthurs Seat stop
  • No hot springs and no winery tastings in the base fare
  • Bike hire in Point Nepean is extra (A$35 push bike, A$75 e-bike)

Springs and wine in a single day. A walk to the Arthurs Seat lookout, a grazing-board lunch with a wine tasting paddle at Green Olive at Red Hill, then three hours at Peninsula Hot Springs, in a small group of up to 15 with a guide. A$265 is A$75 more than the shuttle, and what that buys is the guide, the lunch and the paddle: the Bath House entry inside the fare is the same one.

Two numbers the headline leaves out. Towel, robe and locker hire is A$25 a person extra on Local Way's own page, so bring your own towel or add it to the budget. And Local Way's own booking engine sells a 'Tour Only' ticket at A$175 for people who already hold a springs booking, which is worth knowing if you want the Spa Dreaming Centre (16 and over) rather than the Bath House: Local Way sells that upgrade at A$55 a person.

What travellers loved

  • Arthurs Seat, a winery grazing lunch with a wine paddle, and three hours at the springs in one day
  • Small group, capped at 15
  • Same A$265 at our link and on Local Way's own booking engine

Know before you book

  • Towel, robe and locker hire is A$25 a person extra; Local Way's FAQ says there are no hidden fees
  • One winery, not a wine tour; for tastings at several cellar doors see Vinetrekker or Local Way's own food and wine day
  • Child fares on Local Way's own engine moved between A$225 and A$245 by date when we checked

The same Bath House entry as the shuttle, with more time in the water and a towel in the price. Explore Australia gives you over four hours at the springs, against about three on the shuttle, adds a stop at Murrays Lookout on Arthurs Seat and a row of bathing boxes, and collects from four CBD and Southbank pickup points rather than one. At A$189 it costs a dollar less than Autopia's A$190, and the towel that would cost A$6 at the springs desk is included.

The trade is the clock. It leaves at 9am, takes about eight and a half hours, and the operator does not publish a return time, so plan on an early evening rather than a free afternoon. It runs Monday to Saturday only. Explore Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 76 631 640 910) is an independent Melbourne company and also runs the sightseeing-and-lunch day ranked on this page.

What travellers loved

  • Over four hours at Peninsula Hot Springs, about an hour more than the shuttle
  • Bath House entry and a towel both included for A$189, the same fare on the operator's own site
  • Four pickup points across the CBD and Southbank

  • No Sunday departures
  • Locker hire, lunch and drinks are at your own expense

Not a tour, a bus, and priced like one. Hop It runs a timetabled loop of around 20 peninsula wineries, breweries and distilleries, including Crittenden, Port Phillip Estate, Red Hill Estate and Ten Minutes by Tractor; you choose where to get off and can fit in up to four stops. A$92.95 is the seat and the commentary. Every tasting, every glass and lunch is paid at the venue, so a day of four tastings and lunch can end up costing as much as a guided tour.

This one is cheaper at our link than direct: Hop It's own site sells the same seat at A$92.95 plus a booking fee, which showed as A$98.02 at its checkout, and its own cancellation rule gives no refund inside seven days. Good to know

What does Peninsula Hot Springs cost if I drive myself, and what do the tours include?

On peninsulahotsprings.com on 29 October 2026, Revitalise Bath House bathing is A$80 adult and A$55 child on a weekday, A$90 and A$65 at the weekend, with cheaper early and late entry (before 9am or after 6pm) at A$60 weekdays and A$70 weekends. Towels, robes and lockers are hired on top in the Bath House. The Spa Dreaming Centre, which is 16 and over and includes towel, robe and locker, is A$125 on a weekday and A$135 at the weekend. Same-day bookings carry a 10% premium and public holidays a 10% surcharge. All four hot springs tours here include Bath House entry, not Spa Dreaming. Explore Australia also includes a towel; Autopia and Local Way do not (Autopia's page lists a towel at A$6, Local Way charges A$25 for towel, robe and locker). Peninsula Hot Springs is at 140 Springs Lane, Fingal, about 90 minutes from the CBD.

Which of these companies are the same company?

The hot springs shuttle is sold under three names. Autopia Tours and Wildlife Tours Australia are both registered business names of Get Lost Travel Pty Ltd, ABN 94 143 929 962, on the Australian Business Register, and both sites say bookings are made with that company. Boutique Touring Company has no website and is not a registered business name, but Autopia's booking terms list it among Get Lost Travel's affiliated brands, and its resale listing uses the same Regent Theatre 8:20am departure. We rank the shuttle once. Three of the eight tours on this page are Local Way's and two are Explore Australia's, which we say on each listing. Vinetrekker is a business name of Link Tours Pty Ltd, ABN 27 006 236 433. Hop It's site names Hop It Pty Ltd but publishes no ABN.

Is it cheaper to book direct?

For the shuttle, yes, if you book it under the right name: Wildlife Tours Australia sells it at A$166, A$24 less than Autopia's A$190, and Autopia's own site was showing a 15% code (HD15AT) that brings its fare to about A$162. Local Way's food and wine day was A$205 on its own booking engine on most dates we checked, against A$225 for the Melbourne departure at our link. Hop It runs the other way: A$92.95 at our link against A$98.02 at its own checkout once the booking fee is added. Explore Australia's two tours, Local Way's hot springs and coastal days, and Vinetrekker are the same price either way. Our link also has a 24-hour free cancellation on every tour, which is more generous than Explore Australia's 48 hours, Vinetrekker's graded fees inside 72 hours, or Hop It's no-refund week.

Which wine tour includes the most, and what will I pay on top?

Vinetrekker at A$340 includes four winery tastings (Yabby Lake, Crittenden, Quealy and Ten Minutes by Tractor), a cheese platter and a sit-down main course with a glass of wine at Merricks General Store, so you should pay nothing on the day. Local Way's food and wine day at A$225 (A$205 direct) includes two guided tastings, time at Pt Leo Estate and a grazing-board lunch with a wine paddle. Local Way's wine and hot springs day includes one winery lunch and paddle. Hop It includes no tastings and no lunch at all; it is a bus seat, so budget for each cellar door's tasting fee on top of A$92.95.

I want to hike and soak in one day. Why is Hike & Seek not ranked?

Because you cannot book it soon. Hike & Seek's Mornington Peninsula day, a 5km return walk to Bushrangers Bay plus Bath House entry for A$279, is well reviewed, but on 29 October 2026 both its own Rezdy calendar and its resale calendar showed a single open departure before the end of April 2027, on 23 February. Its own schedule page also lists the tour at A$219 while the tour page and checkout say A$279. If a date suits you, book direct and check the price at checkout. We will rank it when it runs regularly.

Why is there no beer and spirits tour on this list?

The one we found does not leave from Melbourne. Teepee Tours' Mornington Peninsula Winery, Beer and Spirits Tour on Viator meets at Yabby Lake winery at 10am, so you have to get yourself to the peninsula first, and Teepee's own website sells Mornington Peninsula days only as private group tours priced by group size (from A$170 a person for its brewery and spirits day). Teepee's public departures from Melbourne go to the Yarra Valley, which we rank on our Yarra Valley wine tours page.

Can children come?

To the Bath House, yes: Peninsula Hot Springs welcomes all ages there, and the Spa Dreaming Centre is 16 and over. Autopia's shuttle sells child fares (its booking engine says ages 3 to 15, its tour page says 0 to 12), Explore Australia charges A$159 for 4 to 15 on the hot springs day and A$139 on the sightseeing day, and Local Way's coastal day is A$95 a child. Vinetrekker takes children 4 to 15 at A$280 but says the tour is not suitable for infants. Local Way's food and wine day offers no child ticket, and Hop It is 18 and over.
